Chris Kirk-Burnnand

Chris Kirk-Burnnand is a self employed businessman and dedicated local philanthropist. He is goal-oriented and enjoys the challenges associated with working with voluntary groups.

Chris applies his many years of practical experience with the Autostop Group Ltd to enhancing business performance and has a particular interest in corporate and group strategy and human resource management. Chris is current chair of the Porirua Foundation, the Johnsonville Youth Grants Trust and CE of Autostop Group Ltd; and in recent years was chair of the Life Education Trust North Wellington, the Motor Trade Association, and the Whitireia Community Polytechnic.

Chris is a Paul Harris Fellow (Rotary NZ) and in 2005 was awarded the New Zealand Order of Merit for ‘services to the community’. Chris is passionate about the Porirua community; he values local knowledge and community participation, is an advocate of local leadership and community dialogue.
